The Shape-shifter



An array of adjustable individual ropes controls the shape of this inflatable cylinder. At the bottom, a thick ring made of 300 lights provides a blue glow.

Lessons learned:
- each constricting cord should be adjstable on more than one place around the structure to better distribute the constriction;
- elastic cords with fast release instead of knotted regular cords should ease the adjustment of the constriction.
